HELP! QUICK! with Master Cylinder

I installed a new master cylinder, and now, i have bled my brakes three time, yet my truck spots very slowly, i know there is something i need to adjust but i dont know what it is can some one help me? i did completely prime the master cylinder with fluid, so i know thats not it, any ideas? i have a power brake booster, if it makes a difference. I am leaving for my trip tommorow so i need to fix this ahh! harry

Is the pedal height the same as before? Does it feel spongy?

If your positive you have all the air bled out, its possible to get a defective M/C especially if its a rebuilt/reman unit.

the pedal goeras all the way to the floor, very mushy, just starts to give resistance at the end. whem it starts to stop real slow.

Unbolt the master from the booster, and pull it away, no need to crack the lines loose.
Punn the little silver pushrod out, and unscrew the end of it...adjust it out about a 1/4 inch and put the master back on.
Take it around the block and then try coasting in a parking lot, checking for added rolling resistance, also not if there is any burning brake small. If there is, adjust the same pushrod back in a little.

andy thanks, i think that is the adjustment i need to do, i just wasnt sure what it was, i willl et yall know in about 30 minutes if that was it thanks Harry

i think longhornmail has the right answer, i try to check the depth (how far the little rod on the booster goes into the m.c.) on the master cylinder with a screwdriver to make sure they are the same, good luck.
