Cab for sale on ebay - not mine

Found this in case anyone is interested. Off a 2 ton truck, but it looks the same as a 1/2-3/4 ton too.

I have this thought way back in my mind that anything over 1 ton had a different orientation for the steering column. Maybe it was just a bigger drop down on the column but I thought it was also a different location where it passed through the firewall. Anyone???

The column does in fact hang lower, but I am unsure about the fire wall part.
Also, look at the very bottom front corner of the door;

It is cut off, I do not know if the cab floor or rocker is modified for this, but I would imagine so.

Arent the doors that same? I thought I heard someone say that at one time. They would share some other components too.

look at the pic, he front lower corner is cut off. All the 40 and bigger was like that, needed tire room.

The cab floor is also altered for the tire clearances on both sides.
