Whats it worth?

I found an early GMC Jimmy im guessing in a friends pasture. It looks like its around a 70 or so. Are they worth anything, body is in good shape, front/rear axles are there, but thats it drivetrain wise. No rust that i really seen. Im going back out there to look it over better. Would it be worth getting and restoring?

Re: Whats it worth?

The front end has the 4 headlight set up on it. The interior and body lines are like a 67-72 pickup. Im thinkin its around a 70 GMC..... Ive seen a few blazers, but i havent seen a Jimmy....

Re: Whats it worth?

Yes, it is worth something and worth restoring. This body style Jimmy was made from 70-72. There were not many made as Jimmy's in this time period. Blazers were made from 69-72 with fewer than 80,000 manufactured during that time. I believe the number of Jimmy's was somewhere between 10% - 50% (I'm sure someone will pipe in with the actual numbers).
