I sure am bummed out...

I finally got my blazer moved to my apartment complex thinking that i'd finally be able to work on it. Being as clever as possible I parked it to where it would not be in anybody's way (there's plenty of extra parking here and I made sure that I did not park it in anybody's regular spot) but as usual someone noticed the lack of current registration (should of just paid it and got it over with) and now i'm looking at my 24 hr warning paper the complex stuck to my windshield. Hopefully they'll let me just get the registration and be done with it. As far as they know it does run (it doesn't) so I hope the registration is the only thing they are worried about, cuz if so i'll go get it ASAP. If that's not the case then i'll be begging some friends to let me keep it at there house. It sucks being young without a house to store my stuff at.

Re: I sure am bummed out...

I feel your pain. I had to sell my first 72 because I couldn't keep it at my apartment complex. I didn't know what I had at the time or that the Blazer bug would be so deeply embedded in me. That was about 14 years ago and I'm on my third Blazer (current one is the nicest I've owned.)

Re: I sure am bummed out...

It worked out, I got the registration and had a friend get me a inspection sticker and i'm home free, don't have to move it or sell it. I sure am motivated to work on it a lot more now too.

See if you can find yourself a cheap storage to put the Blazer in and work on it.. Just a thought. How about an autobody course where they will let you work on your own project and keep it there.
