I'm with you all the way. Nice set up. I have a 1971 18' Volunteer Camper that will be pulled by a 1985 Chevy Scottsdale when I finish working on the truck. Our family loves camping too.

Do those Airstreams really tow as good as I've heard they do?

Nice setup, btw.

Re: Going camping....can it get any better than this????

I wanted to be the one to post this type pic, but I'm still a few years off.
My 1971 Burb is still undone, and I sold my vintage 1956 airstream.
I want to more match the time line with a late 60' early 70s airstream.
For when my wife & kids go camping in the Florida keys.

FOR NOW, YOU ARE THE MAN, I LOVE YOUR SETUP,

Re: Going camping....can it get any better than this????

You are King!

I have been dreaming of the same set-up since I bought my 'burb, but I still need to do some more work to ensure that a c-notched chassis will be up to the task of pulling a holiday trailer.
