A general question of the Blazer's worth

Hello all, Im relatively new to the forum...

My plan is to re-store my 69 C-10 SWB and enjoy if for a good while but then sell it to get the IMO perfect blazer. this time I would want one 100% re-stored without issues. One very similar to "GreenMonster" blazer.

How much would a 1969 SBC blazer in perfect condition with all new powertrain and drive train updates be worth? Is 20K about right?

Is there somewhere on the Blazer forum to see the pics of everyones blazer?

thanks
Ted

Welcome to the board.

20K is what you might want in the bank when you go shopping for one with the hopes of finding it for less.

Yes, check out this thread to see most every 4wd blazer here.

Re: A general question of the Blazer's worth

A pefectly restored blazer will be a minimum $20K. You might want to have a something closer to $25-30K to get a something "perfect". I've been offered $20K for my stock, unrestored '72 (of course, I'd sell for $20K, but nobody has produced any $$$ yet and I'm not saying that is what mine is worth).

Browse collectorcartraderonline.com and you can see what the prices are for the level of resto you are seeking.

Re: A general question of the Blazer's worth

I'd agree with $20,000. My girlfriend's uncle has a Beautifully restored 72 K5 that he is selling. He wants $26,000 Cdn. that works out to around $20,000 U.S. Worth every penny IMO.

Re: A general question of the Blazer's worth

His Blazer is in storage right now, next time I see him I'll ask if he has any pics. It's sunset orange with a black hardtop, dealer added under dash A/C, brown interior, and all the CST goodies. The only thing not stock is the engine, it's got a 383 stroker. He bought it from the original owner last year. I don't think he's too serious about selling it though.

I specifically searched for and bought an unrestored Blazer from California so I knew what I had. I may have gotten lucky finding this one in the near perfect condition it was in. The owner was asking $15K for it. I found it on www.collectorcartrader.com as previously mentioned by Bouncy. There may be more out there. I looked for two years though.
Pictures of many Blazers are here. There was a 2wd Blazer Photo thread but I don't know where it went.
