Serpentine and E-fans

I have a 72 with a newly built 407 with the serpentine belt kit. Now I have almost no room for a fan I want to go electric but the distance between the bolts on the water pump pully and the radiator is 2.5 inches anyone else had this problem?

Re: Serpentine and E-fans

You can mount them as a pusher (from the front) or try to order a two fan set up with the water pump lining up to the center of the two. That might enable you to squeeze them in there. I have never seen one so close, did you mount it in the BBC position (the front holes in the frame) the SBC is supposed to be in the back holes.
