i seen the pics awhile back and you had it primered ORANGE. where/how much/what kind is the primer ??

a paint shop can tint primer any color you can think of

guess thats all gonna depend on the paint shop. called sherwin williams auto paint shop yesterday and they can only tint a primer called SPECTRA PRIMER and at 200$ a gallon "i dont think so"

paint is kinda like a welder, you get what you pay for. call ppg and dupont before you loose your mind.

You can use regular paint just use a flattener in the clear. This is BMW Moss Green with a flattener.

Putter is the member that has his truck painted, while the cab, with orange primer, and like was mentioned he had it tinted by the paint shop. Just my $.02, if the shop you went to get primer from wouldn't tint it, or won't tint but their "gold plated" primer, then I would find a new paint store.

mine is dupont black with flatner
needs flat clear now,

mine still pings like crazy. gotta get to the bottom of that one.
