Tilt Hoods for 67-72
Does anyone know where I could find parts to convert to a front tilt hood on my 72? I've seen Autoloc's kit but it's a generic fit it yourself kit. Thanks for any info!!

Re: Tilt Hoods for 67-72
Here are the stock rear latches. It would take some fabricating since our hoods are wider in the rear so it could not drop down untill the last second. I will be getting about 3 sets of latches this friday and will play around with it abit. I will not be getting to it for about a month (cabs off the frame) but I will do a set up at that time.

Re: Tilt Hoods for 67-72
I just went to their site and read the instructions or lack their of. It is a universal kit that will require modification and they recomend that a fabrication shop do the install. I do like the simple design of the rear lock set up if I can not get the the one in the pic above to work. Yes the junk yard one is a universal fit that will also require modification as well but with the 1/2 off sale at the local Pick-N-Part it will only cost me $18 plus tx.
