a/c dash install

has anybody changed there non-a/c dash out and installed the a/c dash. i was just wondering how hard this is to do. thanks again for the help.

A few on the board have, most drill out the spot welds on the old one and reinstal the a/c dash. Is your dash cut up? If not , I forget who, there are templates to cut the holes for the vents on the board

Yes that is the only differance. If you have one to copy it is fairly easy. The round side hole are truly round they just seem off because they are not on a flat section of the dash. If your dash is hacked up like both mine then just replace the entire dash. The easy way is to unbolt the three bolts from each side of the dash then cut it thru the center of where the dash pad goes on. I just chisseled a dash out of a truck today for my 70 2WD Blazer that is hacked up real bad.

I put an old air unit in my truk which comes with templates for cut outs that are exactly like the factory. You can go to oldair.com and down load them are just call them and they will send them to you.
