How much Por 15?

How much por-15 would it take to cover a frame? Also what would be a good topcoat for it?

Thanks

Re: How much Por 15?

My neighbor used 2qts on his F-150 frame. I would topcoat it with their chassis black. You will be getting close to the price to have it blasted and powdercoated if you do both POR-15 and their chassis black top coat.

Re: How much Por 15?

It only took me one quart to do the rolling chassie on my 71 LWB that but I plan on going over it again. in spots. The first time I did it outside and I got a little bit of junk in the paint. I hope that helps.

Re: How much Por 15?

I can't imagine doing a whole frame with one quart. It took me a quart to du the under hood part of the frame, and the whole under bed part of the frame on an early (square body) poS-10, and on my longhorn, it have over 1 1/2 quarts just under the bed on the frame, springs, and axle.
