lug patterns

i have a few questions. first, what is the lug pattern for 6 lug wheels on a 70 gmc.

next, if i decide to go 5 lug can i just get a used pair of axles ?? or are they splined different. and is it different depending on what axle i have.

i assume that the 5 lug pattern is more common ?? and what is the lug pattern for the 5 lug trucks.

im just trying to figure out whether to convert or not. performance online has a package for the rear with the axles and it includes the drums and spider gears. im wondering if i can do it for less with boneyard parts.

Re: lug patterns

If you have a later '70, you can slide in the 5 lug axls, but the early 70 models have a narrow rear end.
