Got the burb home.......pictures.
Finally got the burb delivered. I have spent hours cleaning to see what I have. You can truely tell it is a one owner all original. The build sheet was totally ruinated. The hood picture is from 2 hours of buffing. The last pic is what I have in store for it.

That thing is SOLID! Great find and happy to hear you have it home in your stable. It's great to find a solid no rust truck. Something that is rare on the east coast where I'm from. I did get one off ebay from Nebraska. It is an originally California built truck and had been in Nebraska for the last 2 years.

Re: Got the burb home.......pictures.
You Arizona guys S**K. That has to be the cleanest most rust free thing I have ever seen. I guess most of your time will be spent customizing it. Money well spent. Did you buy it from 84 year old grandpa who had it since new.

Re: Got the burb home.......pictures.
I got a question about the backseat. Was it an option for the backseat to be as wide as that one is, cause the one in my '67 burb is shorter.

Re: Got the burb home.......pictures.
I believe it was an option. They are called full length seats. You probably have the 3/4 length seat. Those were shorter so the third seat could be accessed.

Re: Got the burb home.......pictures.
that was my guess too, except, my burb didn't come with a 3rd seat. Maybe I have the wrong seat in mine.

Nice ride! It's almost too nice to change. You don't find those gems up here in the Massachusetts saltland.

Wow! What's the plan for the drivetrane? Love the rendering. What do you think about white below the lower trim with the white top? That look has really grown on me. Those wheels and stance are on the money! Have fun.

Re: Got the burb home.......pictures.
my burb has the 3 seats, and yes the second one is 3/4 seat, where you can go beside it to get to the back one.

Re: Got the burb home.......pictures.
I have to admit that I feel the same way. That is a really nice burb to start off with no matter what way you go. A resto sure would be quick and a lot cheaper than building a rod out of it... Good luck & keep us posted!
