Making a call- 89-91 Burb/Blazer/1-ton front grille/light setup
I know this is a pretty highly sought after setup. I wanted to make a call out there for anyone that might have one, or if you find one locally to buy it on my behalf and ship it to me.
I have been looking for about 6 months for the front radiator support/lights/turn signals/grille/headlight basket setup from an 89-91 Chevy Burb/Blazer/1-ton. I haven't seen a single one. Someone used to make a full repro conversion kit, but I can't even find that anywhere. This is the grille setup I am looking for- ![]() Any help would sure be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Making a call- 89-91 Burb/Blazer/1-ton front grille/light setup
The complet setup in kit form runs around $800 in magazines. I can't remember who sells them but the last ad I saw was in truckin magazine a few months back. It is a company that sells lot of grills and swaps. I personally have 1 ready to go on that is of course for sale for the right price, but you would be a lot better buying new as it took me a long time to get my hands on it. The best way is to buy a complete sub or blazer and swap your front onto it and resell or part the whole thing out like I did. If you cannot find a lik or anything for the place that sells them, drop me aline and I will try to find the info for you.

Re: Making a call- 89-91 Burb/Blazer/1-ton front grille/light setup
I have been searching, googling, ebaying, etc., and I cannot find a conversion setup. The information would be great if you could provide it.
Thanks a lot!

Re: Making a call- 89-91 Burb/Blazer/1-ton front grille/light setup
That 3rd link from pcmcobra is the company I was thinking of- I believe. LMC also sells it all individually. I occasionally read truckin mag and there are a couple places in there that sell the whole setup. I thought I had an ad from when I was thinking of buying 1-before I bought the 89 for parts- but can't find it.
That jbm is prolly about as cheap as you could get the whole thing new at $675, but it is all aftermarket, if you don't mind. A 2wd sub 89-91 can sometimes be had cheap enough to strip for parts and get your money back making it free. A used front cap will usually run about $800.

Re: Making a call- 89-91 Burb/Blazer/1-ton front grille/light setup
I just bought the setup off of Ebay; $145 total for everything + wiring harness. I will have it all to my door for $240 total. I am sure I will replace the grille and headlight doors with new replacements and I will still be into it for less then $350 total.
I think I did ok. I am very happy that the whole wiring harness is included. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=260064819163

Re: Making a call- 89-91 Burb/Blazer/1-ton front grille/light setup
Wow redz nice find. Makes want to fix up my front grill area now. The chrome sections look good but the black area's need repainted. By the way i was reading your other thread about being done with your burb after a few things. I just wanted to say you have an awesome looking burb. I can't wait for mine to look that nice.
