Talking Even a blind squirrel sometimes finds a nut!

Been watching this 1971 Red and White Cheyenne LWB for the past 3 years. Been leaving notes on the guys windshield saying "If you want to sell it, call me~~~"! Finally met him Wednesday and got to chatting. When the question came up about selling---he said sure~~~~. It has 97,000 orig miles, 350V8, Turbo350, PS, Auto, Tint, Air, and everything works!! Has some typical rocker rust, rear quarter over the wells, a bit on the lower tailgate, and a couple of rust thru spots in the bed but---the rest is like --perfect. Super solid cab, excellent glass, perfect front front clip---. Appears to have been an older professional restoration. Under the hood is all original and correct which I haven't seen lately. Oh yea, did I mention it has an original factory AM/FM? Will include a picture when I pick it up tomorrow assuming it drives enough to make it to my house! Wish me luck~~~~~~~~Huck

You have too many trucks, your wife told me last month that you are not aloud to have any more than what is opn your property now...so I am sending crews to pick up one of them and bring it up here...I told him to nab the blue and white one if it is there...don't worry about keys, I have an extra ignition switch right here.
Good deal man! Congrats.
Whats the plans on this one?

Here is the latest addition. Hopefully I can attach the picture. Needs rockers, cab corners, rear quarter wheel well pieces, and probably a replacement bed floor as it rusted through between the bed supports and the floor. Has some great options---CST, 350V8, Auto, Air, PS, PDB, Tint, AM/FM, POSI, HD Springs, Sway Bar, Overload springs---overall like 21 options. Paint is OK as is Chrome. Will make a great driver~~~~

May those who love us, love us, any of those who do not love us, may God turn their hearts.
And if God is unable to turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we may know them by their limping.

A man who works with his hands is a laborer; a man who works with his hands and his brain is a craftsman; but a man who works with his hands and his brain and his heart is an artist.

Oh the memories! That's the way mine looked when I bought it in '91, other than the fact that it had no rust, 402, working air, and a clean nice bed! The downside was the cab lights, which I still wish would disappear. But it was a good buy at $1400, and it has been nothing short of the best truck I've ever owned (the others were: '56 Chev stepside, '75 3/4 4wd, '78 1/2, '67 Chev lwb, '74 Chev lwb, '65 Toyota Landcruiser-lotta' fun, '70 Chev lwb, '68 GMC lwb-immaculate-tornado got it, '75 S-10, and a '87 S-15 Jimmy-my fishin', huntin', most everything else vehichle. Not sure if I got 'em all, but you get my drift.........these are the most outstanding trucks ever produced.

In case you haven't seen the pics, check out JohnnyP's pics of Maych, he has done an outstanding job on that truck.
