Thorley headers with y-pipe; I chose these because:

1. I wanted long tubes
2. I needed a new y-pipe
3. 14ga steel
4. Thorley name known for quality
5. Nice customer service reps
6. The y-pipe is custom made for the 6" lift!

For the cost of this setup (flash chrome finish) @$488 from summit, I am saving money from buying shorties and getting a new y-pipe made; The rep said a modest 2-3mpg gain and 30-40ft/lb torque should be realized. I know the chrome finish won't hold up, but I don't care. It's a truck, and they are headers.

I will post a write up when I get them.

I was perusing through Summit today looking at headers. It seems that you can't get a kit with a y-pipe and A.I.R.? I saw headers for A.I.R. and kits with y-pipes, but not both.
I figure when I am ready to order I'll call them up and find out if they have a part # for a kit that has both, or if they sell the y-pipe seperately.

That is exactly what I did. I was very confused too because there are so many part numbers. Talk to Shawn Crary at Thorley Headers 951-739-5900 ext.210.

After a series of Q/A, we dudeced that I needed The Headers with dual air inputs from the smog pump (single air inlet at front of air tubes), a y-pipe for the lift, 02 sensor bung, and a vacuum operated heat riser on the pass side.

The part # ended up being 346Y9-DA for me (-C at the end of that if I wanted ceramic coating)

Really nice guy. Definitely give him a call before you make that order.
