Some updated pictures. Dont expect much!
Haha. Well I've been driving this truck about 3ish months now, bought it for $900 from a board member, put a new radiator, cap and 2 thermostats before I actually got the thing runnin cool. Runs pretty well most the time, shifts good too, cant complain. Does have the top shock mount ripped out of the frame on the drivers right side I'll fix that later, next year when I start riding my bike every day, I can park the ol GMC and start strippin her down for repaint... Gonna go that black and silver stock color but a little different... Anyway, this is all i've done so far, dont mind the bashed up sheetmetal, I'm gonna get new goodmark doors, fenders and hood when I paint it.

Hey Crank I got that top shock mount problem, as well(passenger side). The mount is rusted and the P.O. put a big washer in place of the rusted hole with sheet metal screws. I was wondering whats the correct way to fix this problem. I haven't talked to any shops yet.

I'm just gonna find a half frame or a wrecked truck in a yard and take a torch to it. Cut mine out and weld it in, reinforce the he!! out of it, put that'll be when I replace the front fenders and all that good jazz.

Re: Some updated pictures. Dont expect much!
Yup. One tooth smile. I like it tho. I already bought a pass. fender and door off a Sub. but decided not to use them, they were perfect 'cept for dings smaller than a dime, but i figured, I'm gonna be getting new sheetmetal anyway, I'll just hold out for a while. Grill is gonna be a billet, between the stock headlight bezels... NO TRIM anywhere, may or may not stick with the door handles, I really wanna get some motorcycle mirrors or something small, maybe one piece glass. Been thinkin of changing to my Blazer bumper from my Blazer I have. whaddya think? Thanks 84 400 for the comments, figured I'd throw out my plans for 'er.
