Abandoned project in D/FW. Interest??

Hi all-

Just looking to see what you guys think. I don't want to ship so I will keep it confined to the D/FW area.

Well, after over year of toying with it, circumstances are forcing me to abandon my 69 GMC SWB project. I bought this truck a little over year ago and it was complete. Due to some rust issues discovered after the purchase, I have since taken off the front clip, pulled the cab and motor. Upon pulling the cab, it appears that the frame was repaired with the front section of another cab. The frame is solid but is not numbers matching. The sheetmetal on this truck is painted with a gorgeous Dupont Hot Hues Razzlin Red paint. Aside from the frame issue and a rusty cab, this truck is very nice when fully assembled. I have an extra cab that will need to be prepped and painted. This could be an excellent project for someone who wants to build or has a SWB frame that needs good sheetmetal. I also have a lot of other good parts:

2 sets of late model chevy truck buckets with integrated belts (gray with console, tan with power)
3 gauge clusters (repro tach cluster, non tach cluster, 3 gauge cluster)
Hot Rod air system
Frame has ECE power front disc conversion and power steering
350 Crate engine with less than 3K miles. Peformer RPM intake.

Let me know if anybody is interested. I can send pics upon request. I will sell the whole lot to someone if the deal is right. Thanks

Jeremy

What about the price of the Hot Rod Air kit?

What all is included? Is it just the under dash box? Compressor?

I'm interested. Need price. Pics are a plus.

Re: Abandoned project in D/FW. Interest??

Shane-

The hotrod air kit is complete from compressor to control. However, I noticed when I pulled it out today that the casing around the underdash box is cracked and has a large hole which appears to have cracked off and broke. Not sure if they could send you a new casing or rebuild this one for you. Let me know what you think.

Re: Abandoned project in D/FW. Interest??

Have a couple questions for you.

What shape are the body parts in as far as rust and bondo?
Is the trucks suspension stock height? Posi rear or not?
How much would you want for the body parts and chassis? I wouldn't want either cab. I have a near perfect one for a future project but a rusty shortbed. Might be interested in building my LWB into a SWB since it wont sell.

Hey Jeremy,

I know you're wanting to unload the entire frame as is but if you consider parting it out, I'd be interested in the disc setup. (I'd take the whole frame but my wife would kill me). Just let me know.

Re: Abandoned project in D/FW. Interest??

Hey guys-

I apologize for any confusion. I have responded to all PM's. I am not sure why you haven't seen the responses. I have a few guys interested in the bed at the moment and several that are looking at the seats. Everything else is still up for grabs. If you are local, I would recommend coming by and talking to me. Thanks. Phone is 214-850-8081
