How do I tighten the wing window latch?
I have '68 & up wing window latches that are pretty loose. How do I tighten them up?

You can loosen or tighten the resistance of the wing thru an access hole, but I don't think that's what you're asking.

There's a bent washer in the assembly that acts as a spring. As it gets old, it gets flatter and so the vent window handle gets looser. Whole kit including new latch handle is about $10 bucks from the usual vendors. Bent washer is not available separately.
