68 Fender Emblem Question

I bought a 68 clip for my resto project that came off a 3/4 ton truck. I intend to place 1/2 emblems on the truck and need to know if the pin placement on the 1/2 emblems are the same as the 3/4 emblems. I have the fenders nearly ready for the first coat of primer but want to make sure my emblem holes are correct on the old fender and I need to drill them in the new fender, see picts. Obviously I haven't purchased the 1/2 emblems yet, that is about five phases away from the one I at currently .

So can I just drill my new fender to match the old one?

Re: 68 Fender Emblem Question

Cool. I would guess that they are the same but wanted to check. So the 1/2 ton emblem must look like this from behind, pin same location, photoshopped the other one...
