Re: Lets see your aluminum slots (again)
I recently bought some 14's for my 95 Nissan pu. I've been keeping an eye out for some in either 5 or 6 lug for my old trucks. I like them

Re: Lets see your aluminum slots (again)
Stange how they are all center to center except the 5 bolt, makes sense though (odd number). I went out & measured one of my 5on5 rally wheels & sure enough you were right. Thanks for setting us (especially me) straight on that...

Re: Lets see your aluminum slots (again)
The true definition of bolt pattern is the diameter of a circle drawn thru the center of all lug holes. The 5 lug measurement above gives approx. that dimension. Here is also a quote I found on a website.
Bolt Patterns A wheel's bolt-circle-diameter is the diameter of an imaginary circle drawn through the center of the wheel's mounting-bolt holes. Different vehicle makes and models have varying bolt patterns, so knowing how to measure bolt pattern is important if you're considering a move to aftermarket wheels. If the pattern has an even number of mounting holes (four, six or eight lugs) simply measure from the center of one stud hole directly across the center of the wheel to the center of an opposite stud hole. With a five-lug pattern, measure from the center of one stud hole to the center of the farthest stud hole, skipping the adjacent hole. The resulting measurement is slightly smaller than the actual bolt-circle diameter. The conversion table below displays the difference. Five-Lug Bolt Circle Converter Measurement Bolt Circle 3 3/4 inches 4 inches 4 inches 4 1/4 inches 4 1/4 inches 4 1/2 inches 4 1/2 inches 4 3/4 inches 4 11/16 inches 5 inches 5 3/16 inches 5 1/2 inches 94 mm (3 11/16 inches) 100 mm 108 mm (4 1/4 inches) 112 mm 109 mm (4 5/16 inches) 115 mm 114 mm (4 1/2 inches) 120 mm 124 mm (4 7/8 inches) 130 mm

Re: Lets see your aluminum slots (again)
American Racing Wheels makes, or sells, Anson slotted wheels. Don't know if they are really styled after the originals, but they are reasonably priced. I've thought about buying a set for the 71.

Re: Lets see your aluminum slots (again)
I wanted the Ansen sprints for my first truck back in the early 70's but they had just shut down. So I bought the next closest wheel. The ET polished slots. 8 and 10". Loved them but they sure were a lot of work to keep clean and shining. Happich semichrome polish and an old T shirt and a finger. I hated all dogs in the neighborhood while i had those wheels. Raw aluminum and dog pizz don't go together well!
