Stock Stall Speed
What would the stock stall speed be on a 350 / 350?
I am looking for an advanced torque converter, and the base it on ??? above stock speed. Any info on Saturday night special from TCI?

saturday nite special is about 400 rpm above stock, which is roughly 15-1700 rpm... I ran one before I switched to a 700R4 and was very happy with it....

So correct me if I'm wrong, stock speed would be 1100 - 1300 rpm?

Stock stall 1500 to 1700. This is foot on brake WOT. Also dependent on how much torque you have. Had a TCI Saturday night special and it came in around 2100 with hoped up 305.

I'm lost, Why do you need foot on brakes and WOT?
I thought that the stall speed was actually when the fluid transfered and your vehicle starts to move. If you are just above idle, the truck starts to move Aprox 1000 rpm. I just don't understand 1500-1700rpm. Is that when the converter rotates at the same speed? HELP!
