1970 Chevy gas cap
I have a 1970 chevy c-10 does any one know if you should have a vented gas cap or not vented. I take it off and it has allot of pressure in the tank. And it is behind the seat.Thanks.

Re: 1970 Chevy gas cap
I'm not an expert, but I believe it should have a vented gas cap; I believe non-vented gas caps require a charcoal canister (vent).

Re: 1970 Chevy gas cap
if its still behind the seat it should have a vent tube on the right side of the tank and really shouldnt need a vent cap, my tank is still behind the seat and has the vent tube and nonvent cap and i dont have any pressure in it and i also dont have a charcoal canister either
