How do you guys ship Tailgate Bands? Need to know before I list it

Get 2 pieces of 1x8x6, cut them to length + 2" on each end. Wrapthe band in bubble wrap, sandwich betwwen the 1x8's, tape and ship. I have bought a couple of NOS and had them shipped this way with great results.

Craig, thats the best way, it won't add much more like a couple dollars is all, it might keep them from bending it, just to be on the safe side, it would be worth it, the way they handle stuff at shippers. Also if I were you I'd wait till after the first of the year to ship anything, they are so busy right now with Christmas stuff, they get real careless, I try to not to ship much of anything this time of year.

You could also use some 1/4" plywood with cardboard. I bought one with the 1/4" backing and it wasn't damaged. It shipped UPS also.
