1970 Quad Cab Truck

This sold on ebay a while ago and the guy swore up and down that he ordered it from the factory like that brand new and used it as a service truck at his dealership i dont have any of his information nor did i know who he was but i have people arguing with me left and right saying that it did exist and GM build this truck i need some proof that they didnt...any help appreciated!

They exist. I've seen several. I'm pretty sure a couple board members have them. The Forest Service got a bunch of them and I think some railroad company got a bunch. Others will probably chime in with better stats.

GM didn't build them... .so you win.
BUT.... They are in fact as original as a later model camaro with a convertible top.... GM didn't make them either, just like the El Camino SS... they were farmed out, as are the conversion vans... but sold on the GM floor.

Thanks alot for the comments i just wanted to make sure GM didnt make them and they were a dealer conversion or another companys conversion
