Old school truck, cool or what??

This sold on ebay and ended today. I have been watching it but didn't want to put it on here until it sold. I can't believe it sold for $7500, seems way high but definetly something you don't see everyday.

I would have paid $7500 in a heartbeat for it, I was surprised it didn't have more action on it.

I really like how unique it is... That inline six isn't something you see everyday.

Don't get me wrong, I would've paid that if the truck was the "survivior" he said. I don't need a fakey.

I like the truck, but have always thought that the wide whitewall tires look like crap regardless of what they're on...

Re: Old school truck, cool or what??

Now that you mention the door being recently painted. If you look close you can see that it has been put in a sand blaster for the vintage look. Notice the perfect circles of wear.?? Especially at the base of the V. The newly painted white top throws it off a bit as well.

That's it I'm painting "Mike Hunt's Beaver Stuffing" on my door and sandblasting it! Maybe I will get $10K??

That's why I'm going to have this painted on the side of my truck. I figure in 15-20 years it might be worth something.

I love it myself. I wouldn't pay that much for it and I would have tossed the front springs before driving it anywhere (cut 2 full coils off, ouch).

But I am a fan of the rat rod look. Just look at my ghetto fab ride!
