Re: door poppers on my truck
I just installed the autoloc remote in the drivers side to test it out. I haven't installed the poppers because the door opens enough to grab it. When looking for and area to install the poppers, the bottom right area looked like a good candidate. Good luck with your project.

Re: door poppers on my truck
I just finished installing some on my 67. I went with the Autoloc billet plunger type. I originally tried the bottom right corner but it was actually putting a bit of a twist in the door when it was fully closed. So I moved them to the hinge area. I basically drilled a hole big enough for the plunger where the "4th" bolt would be. I then had to fab a little bracket that was welded to the cab so that the plunger was almost fully depressed when the door was closed. It worked out to be about a 1/2". The doors will now pop out about 1.5 ft. I also cut the original hinges out and installed a bearclaw latch which helps to pop the doot as well. I can post some pics if you are interested.
Cheers
