holley carb linkage question
im currently rebuilding a 600 holley right now (first time) and i think i have a problem with the linkage coming back together. i looks like the accl. pump is barely moves. i have rebuilt 8 quadrajets in my day and theis is the first holley i have ever touched. does the accl. pump move only a little bit? does anyone have any pics?

Re: holley carb linkage question
The accellerator pump arm doesn't move a whole lot. Maybe 1/4 in or so. I don't have any pics right at he moment but I can snap a few if you need them.
One thing comes to mind though. Did ya put the little plastic "cam" back on the throttle shaft?

Re: holley carb linkage question
yea i gave it another look over today and the accl. pump arm was riding on the cam lobe. im just used to seeing a quadrajet accl. pump move way up and down. it all looks to be ok.
