Newbie at Scott Air Force Base
What a great place to get info! I wish this was around 20 years ago when I was messing up my Dad's poor '72 fleetside. I now have that fleetside which my dad bought new. He gave it to me with the agreement that I would never sell it. That is it in the avatar. I just took care of all the rust and am now painting it. I also have a '72 C-10 that is my daily driver. Anyway, glad to be here.

Welcome to the board from Alberta. I'm kind of new here too. Looks like you got a nice project truck ahead of you. What color you painting the '72?

Re: Newbie at Scott Air Force Base
I am going to paint it the original dark green. I was going to go for ared, but decided I want to keep it as original as possible.

Re: Newbie at Scott Air Force Base
I agree with Liz, red is over done even though I love red trucks I think you would be happier staying with the dark green. Welcome to the board from Western Kentucky.
