can 2" lowering blocks cause problems? or is there any downfalls using lowering blocks?

Actually, I think a 2 drop block in the rear of a coil spring truck is a better deal than a spring drop, as you still have the load capacity as was stock. The only downside on the block drop , is that 2-2 1/4" is about max with a 15" wheel combo to maintain proper "scrub lines" . You dont want any suspension pcs hangin below the wheel , in case of a blowout on a tire(YIKES!) if you are conservative on the block drop, i see no downfalls
