Most of the threads I've searched don't show any real good pics of rear roll pans for Fleetside trucks so I was hoping you guys could help me out on this one.

Thanks!

Great!! Thanks for the pics guys.

Still undecided on going for a roll pan or sticking with the stock bumper but these pics are gonna help me make the decision.

Re: Roll pan pic request for Fleetsides!!

The only sticking point for me has always been the positioning of the liscense plate, I'm not a fan of it hanging down so far just doesn't look right to me. Other than that I love the look of the roll pans and wouldn't hesitate on putting one on.

Re: Roll pan pic request for Fleetsides!!

Yeah i like the look of roll pans but I don't like Chevy's roll pans being so thin and the plate half hanging past it. I have one to put on but haven't decieded to do it yet. Also have one for the front but like the look on the front roll pan and 67-68 better.

Re: Roll pan pic request for Fleetsides!!

Mar-K makes rear pans and front pans for these trucks. Having the plate hang down past the pan is a problem, but we have tried to minimize that. To install a Mar-K pan, you have to notch the rear sill to provide clearance for the tag "box". http://www.mar-k.com/rear_cross_sill_modification.html The picture is a step bed but fleet beds also require notching. It complicates the installation but seems to be the only way to raise the tag and still have it frenched into the pan. Look closely at the pictures posted and you can see some of the tags hang down about 2" and some are less, maybe about 1". Mar-K pans for 67-72 fleetsides allow the tag to hang down about 1".

Re: Roll pan pic request for Fleetsides!!

Here's mine I can't remember what brand it is, but I think most vendors probably sell the same one or very similar. I like how the plate is tucked up about as high as you can get it and still be able to get to the wiring for the light in my plate frame. There isn' really room for a light in the top of the opening. And on the sides would just look tacky in my opinion.
