How are you sitting that low in the back and keeping a functioning back seat?
Thanks -Chris

Re: newer blazer pics
Hey Rob, will that truck ever get finished?...I think not, you will always find something else to do on it; maybe your kids will finish it when they inherit it.
A little off topic can you pm me Loren's phone number, I lost it when my cell got crushed in an unfortunate go-karting accident. BTW I hope you and the family have a Very Merry Christmas and tell the wife I say"Hi". Dave |

Re: newer blazer pics
The tub was designed to fit under the seat, the seat is out of a 80 blazer. All that will be changing though. I intend to use a seat out of some newer car so I can have 3 shoulder harnesses this will require some rework of the whole setup

Re: newer blazer pics
Rob,
Your truck is sweet. Any way you could take some more detailed pics of your tub and how the seat is mounted? That's something I'm gonna have to figure out myself and it'd be really nice to see one that's already done. I've seen Kyle's tub and I know he's using a third row seat out of a late model Tahoe. Is yours similar to his or have you seen the pics of his? http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=198386&page=3

Re: newer blazer pics
I haven't even started my truck yet so I'm trying to see some different alternatives. I like the way Kyle's looks I was just hoping to see a few different ones before I actually start cutting and bending.
Mine will be flat for seat mounting purposes but that's the only thing I know at the moment.

I haven't started my Blazer yet. It'll be soon though. It'll be a Porterbuilt long distance creation - meaning I'll be on the phone a lot with Nathan while it's being built with almost every part he makes. Currently 4wd BUT these are the basic future specs: Front - PB Dropmember, ART c-arms, Slam Spec. bags, PB swaybar, haven't made a final decision on brakes yet (I want Baer or similar but don't want to pay for them - I just want to be able to stop easily with a trailer carrying a 1700 VW bug) Rear - 6" c-notch, PB 4-link, not sure on bags yet (need to be able to tow the bug and trailer), probably 9" rearend but maybe 12" with 3.55 Detroit locker (found one cheap but haven't checked to see if it's good). I'm not telling anyone where it is until I find out either so don't ask. Air control - ART Ride-Pro 4100 e2 LS1, 4L60E Does that feed your need a bit? I love your truck by the way. I have a couple pics of it on my slideshow screensaver. I'm glad your planning on taking it lower though. Once I start I'll try to take lots of pics and keep everyone informed. Jim
