?Body Swap Questions?

Okay, I know where there is a '78 Heavy Half 4x4, But the motor is out and the Body is shot. I was wondering that if i bought the truck, if i could put a 67-72 body on the truck and have it fit properly. I know that I may have to Fab up some mounts, but I was wondering if the body would fit, from frame to frame. Does anyone know the differences??? Has anyone ever done this? If so could you give some details? And Possible post some Pictures?
Thanks, Brandon

Thumbs up

Mudder67 has put his 67 on a 73 and up 4x4 chassis. You might want to drop him a PM.
