06 dually rims on 1980 dually
Hello Can I put 06 Chevy OEM dually rims on my 1980 1 ton dually? What do I do about the 06 metric lugs and the 1980 std studs? Thanks Howard

Re: 06 dually rims on 1980 dually
direct swap.
they have the same 8 by 6.5 lug pattern. You don't have to change anything. Only Ford is metric (8 x 160mm) that I know of unless chevy just now changed |

Re: 06 dually rims on 1980 dually
howdog,... I put some '05 aluminum wheels on my '89 (old body style) SINGLE wheel 1-ton. I wanted to use the stock wheel centers which require a lug nut with external threads. I searched ebay and found this company,... www.ezAccessory.com. I ordered from them direct and had them in about 3 days. Search for "GM 9/16" external thread lug nut". They worked great for putting newer wheels on older "standard" thread trucks

Re: 06 dually rims on 1980 dually
Not meaning to hijack this thread but I found some steele rims off of a '93 GMC dually, will they fit my '71 cab/chassis. Thanks in advance.
