Switch to clamshell mounts?
Is this possible in our trucks at all? The kind of mounts that are in my 69 right now are a major PITA to get unbolted. What all would be required to switch over to the clamshell mounts if able?

Re: Switch to clamshell mounts?
Are you planning on taking the motor out often? By the time you change the towers & the mounts you can just take the two bolts out of the mounts you have. Ive change motors in a ton of the clamshell style & my 69 has pad style pads & I thought they were easier to get apart & back together than the clamshells.
