Question about dash center A/C vent?
I need to replace the dash center a/c vent on my 1972 Cheyenner Super.Has anyone out there bought one of the aftermarket replacement ones. Is it all plastic or does it have the metal louvre in the middle like OEM? Also; anyone that has purchased one recently; who did you get it from and were you satisfied with it? Thanks for you input! Ron

I bought an aftermarket one. I got it from REZ Engineering. They have a mail-order catalog. (406-727-9267) It had a metal louver in it. Seemed to be as good as Origial. I was definitely satisfied. Dont know who the manufacurer is.

I purchased mine from GM a few years back, not sure if they still offer it.

The repop one I installed in a truck I built a few years back still had the metal louvers, and it even came from lmc to. I haven seen an all plastic one yet.
