under the dash ac cab
hi I have viewed this site many times getting help just never posted anything. live in Nashville tn. I was at the junk yard and seen an under the dash ac in a 72 lwb was wondering how can you check and see if it is any good, or what is it worth. I have a 72 cheyenne (swb) with air now, but was just wondering

If it is under the dash, most likely it is a dealer install. Get it dirt cheap and do as CAL said and have it checked out. Good chanch it could be good or not take much to fix. Even the underdash dealer install are getting rare. Get it. Welcome to the board from Western Kentucky.
