67 Motorhome
Hey guys,
Finally have some pics of my camper ready. Took it to Richmond in September for the NASCAR race, ran great but had a stone come up off the highway on my way home and punctured my radiator. What a bummer, in the middle of God knows where Virginia on a Sunday with a leaking radiator. Black pepper and stop leak got me home and have it repaired now. Going to have to put a stone shield in front of the radiator so it doesn't happen again. Enjoy the pics. Working on a "63 Blue Bird Motorhome conversion right now. Once that one is usable the little Chevy is going to get lots of tlc. Merry Christmas all, Howard |

Re: 67 Motorhome
Hey dogdaddy, that's a cool rig.
What's up with the black pepper rad fix? I've never heard of that. That sounds like a good emergency measure. Any details?

Re: 67 Motorhome
WOW, I second that I have never seen one like that before, unless you count an old school bus with drapes in the windows

Re: 67 Motorhome
Black pepper works like stop leak in a pinch, even had one of our mechanics use some on a piece of heavy equiptment at work one time. Way far away from the shop and nowhere close to use a company account. Can't always find a parts store, but you can aleays find a grocery store.

Re: 67 Motorhome
You drove your ol camper to spend a weekend at a Nascar event?I just don't see how it gets any better than that!
I hope to do the same sometime (though I prolly won't have a camper...maybe a tent).

I Don't get any better, NASCAR, Partying, a legal place to crash, and a classic Chevy. Life is good once in awhile. Wish I could afford the follow the NASCAR boys for a full season.

Re: 67 Motorhome
Cool camper dogdaddy. As far as I can rember, you are the first member on this board to come up with a true cowel model truck. (Nose with no cab). I'm not 100% sure but I think 68 was the last year for these.
