3 on the tree linkage, is the the same?
for '84 as a '69? I have a friend that needs the shift linkages for his '84. I have them in the '69 I just picked up, but i don't know if they will work. Anybody out there know?

The linkage rods are different lengths depending on which tramsmission was installed (not all 3spds were the same overall length). I had to swap different rods onto my 68's 3spd column when I swapped to a 3spd from a 69 model truck.
Once the linkage rods were swapped, it worked like intended.
