looking for info/help 68gmc

hi there
first off i want to say thank you guys so far
i need to know what frames would be the closest match to my 68 gmc swb
mine is pretty weak in back half
also looking for small things like heater switch...wiper switch....a plug that goes in insterment cluster...a door handle for pass side etc
i am in east coast of canada and not alot arround here
i also need a good drivers fender and a 67-68 hood
maybe too much to ship the big stuff
but any help be great

I believe GMC used leaf springs standard and Chevy had coils.Other than that any swb frame should work.Either set-up.Go with a 71-72 for the front disc brakes if you can.As for finding a frame and the other items you can acess the classifieds on this Bulletin board if you are a subscriber.Most of what you need should be posted there.There are also some members who sell reproduction parts if you want new stuff.To subscribe go to the top of the page and look at the stickies.It's $25.00 well spent.

also is 71 gmc fenders same has the 68 fenders?
what differences are there in the 2?

a GMC would have the same fenders 68 up to 72.
The frame Q... any 67 - 72 chevy or GMC swb would work as a frame donor... step side and fleetside... same frame was used.
