Ran some errands today.

We had to run some errands and pick up a few things today so I took the camera along. Of course we went the long way since the weather was nice. I managed to spot a couple old buildings I thought would photograph well.

Nothing like waking the neighbors at dawn!

And picked up a couple items in Chattanooga! (Thanks go out to HuggerCST and his sis.(for the tin, not the glass.))

Great picks SEE TEN. I wish we had some nice weather. It is cold and snowy here in the north west and the truck is put away till probably Aprilish. Again looks great.

Great pics. I hope that tailgate was tied down real well, I'd hate to see the other cargo get damaged!

Re: Ran some errands today.

it seems where ever you put your truck makes for a nice photo.

I think my neighbors are starting to get annoyed with me. every morning I fire up ol Lefty and she raps quite nicely at first through those short glass packs.

Re: Ran some errands today.

seeten, there is a cool old school service station on the rioad to Cannondale golf course that seems like it would be a cool setting for your truck. It just seems like it would be one of those type photos.

John, nice looking catch, but ain't you a few over the limit?

Re: Ran some errands today.

Seeten, how do you get the color and clarity out of your camera? What Camera are you using? Are those mostly morning shots- maybe that's the key?

Re: Ran some errands today.

Thanks guys! The vodka was smooth and it was my first time trying Hangar One. The Vodka is lime flavored and we got it to splash in Corona in lieu of a wedge of lime. It was good, but just not the same as having the lime wedge, so I added the wedge along with the vodka . Now THAT was tasty! That's also a half gallon of Lime flavored Cuervo (should make some tasty margaritas). The little bottle is Bacardi Limon (no idea what we are going to drink that with). Remember fellas, moderation is the key, and don't drink and drive! Old buildings like this are always just around the corner. Sometimes if we take a different route home we'll find something we haven't seen before. I think most people drive the same route day after day and sometimes fail to "see" the things they look at everyday. The camera is nothing special, it's a Kodak easy share Z760 (6.1 megapixel). All of these shots except for the first were shot in the late afternoon. The camera is pretty much idiot proof (which is apparent since I can operate it ) Point and click and there you go. I do try to make most shots with the flash turned off. The only time I try to use the flash is if I'm in a lot of light and my subject has a shadow on it. In this pic I forgot to cut off the flash, you can really see it in the mirrors of the barber shop. It lightened up the color of the truck as well as made items in the interior of the truck more visible.
