are the burb fuel tanks and blazer ones the same?or do the mount differently?

Hey Dean!
Burb tanks are usually bigger, though I have seen a few K5s with the bigger tanks. They mount the same, but use different straps, and different crossmember spacing. My 80 GMC is running a burb tank, but it is a longbox, and there are only inches to spare between the rear diff housing and the fuel tank when the springs are on the bump stops.

dang i want to put the burb tank in the blazer to feed the 6.0 liter swap

It is just a matter of moving the front fuel tank crossmember back a few inches, diff clearance pending...
