ECI or CPP or TCI Brakes
I am in the process of ordering a power master brake set up for my 53 chevy.
Any comments on ECI bracket master cylinder and booster as compared with CPP or TCI. Is one better than the other = cost vs ease of installation.

Re: ECI or CPP or TCI Brakes
Dang Solid no responses???? Well I don't know anything about these guys, but I was looking at going with Master Power Brakes. I have bought a couple of items from CPP and mostly everything worked. The fuel tank needed a mod to clear the springs and I still need to do a little work to get the mounting brackets to work. I did call them and felt like they didn't want to help or maybe they had never run into the problem that I was having. I wouldn't go as far as saying they had bad customer service because the guy was nice and tried to help, but he was going to check with someone else and call back. I still haven't heard from them so I just did what needed to be done to fix it. I would probably get more stuff from them. This was my experience from them.

Re: ECI or CPP or TCI Brakes
I used ECI for there M/C & mount for a dual M/C and it worked as he said it would. When I called him to ask him about his set up he does not use a porportioning valve but instead a metering valve. He stated because of the rear tire size (Larger) on hot rods you only use a metering valve on the front.
Makes sense, and he did not hesitate to tell me why, and also said to call him back when I had my decision made on the front brakes. The reason is all the aftermarket companys use different calipers and he would size the Master cylinder to which ever caliper I was going to use. So lets see if I get the same answer twice !!!!

Re: ECI or CPP or TCI Brakes
The Solid axle comes from a term that is used on Corvettes. I have a Swing Axle 65 and a Solid Axle 62 ,and when I was selling things on evil bay I used Solidaxle for my handle but it was takes so I changed the spelling solidaxel.
Both of my pick ups will have IFS the 55 has a Mustang ll type and the 53 that I am building now has a Dodge Dakota IFS
