well guys i taled to a friend of mine about this i was gonna use the front clip and doors off the 68 for my 67 but after talking to my friend that knows more about body work than i do he said we could fix mine fairly easy so im just gonna fix my parts and i made the people that have the 68 an offer and if they take it then when i get my truck done i might just fix that up too i mean after all you can never have too many of these trucks right lol well ok my wife dont think that but i do

thanks i appreicate the info i really hope i get this truck i dont really like the 3/4 tons (no offence to anyone here who has one) but i would like to get it to fix up for my son when he gets older. he is 11 now so plenty of time to finish my truck then start on his at least i wouldnt worry about him driving it like i would if he was driving some little car....and i have another question i hear everyone talking about joining clubs on here and supporting this site well how does all that work exactly? does it cost to join the clubs or what? and i would love to help support the site i have only been around here for about a month and im hooked on this place there is alot of great people and info on here....so please let me know how all this works thanks again

Go into your usercp and click on group membership and select the groups you want to join. There is no charge for that.

i went and checked it out i will hopefuly have the extra money soon to help support this great site and i might join some of the clubs too not sure yet does joining the clubs give you power around here lol i like power lol but seriously i might join some but will for sure be a supporter thanks for the info

joining clubs gives you no more power, no extra clout no extra anything except more crap under your name It is free tho.

To post a WIW you need to subscribe. To be a member of a club, just go to "user cp" and look under Group Memberships and click the ones that apply.

If he was posting a WIW for a truck he's gonna buy (without saying he's gonna part it) we usually let it slide, but technically you must be a subscriber to post ANY WIW threads.

oh i didnt know that i was just trying to see if i got the truck and used what i could and then try to get some of my money back on the rest i didnt know you had to support to do that sorry guys

It's nothing personal, just some try to get around subscribing by posting a WIW thread and then selling it via pm's or e-mails. The reason the subscription was necessary was we had a rash of ripoff's, the idea is that a ripoff artist will not want to pay the subscription just to rip someone off, and so far it seems to be working.
