Hardtop R&R, without killing yourself... I didn't die!!

Got the old hardtop off. Got it raised up, slid 2x4's under it, and lifted/slid it off onto my junk trailer.


I lined up the two rigs, noticed this was not going to be fun because of the height difference.

First thing I did was get the top up high enough to get 2x4's under the donor, and 2x4's across to the recievee.


I lifted from the center and moved the top back about a foot.
I then turned the top cockeyed to begin the lift over the rollbar



I got the front over the rollbar, and put the passenger side of the top onto the back of the rear seat.
***Mental note to self, next time take the seat out.





Now I have to decide if I am going to leave it black, or repaint white, and find my weather strippng so the typical hardtop leak will cease to exist.
