Check out Paul's wrecking yard in Westville. They normally keep a bunch of 73-87's around their yard for a while before they crush them. Most of the other yards either don't get them in at all, or crush them immediately.

Re: WTB Need Rear Axle 87 Burb 3.73!
I did a while back but they didn't have any in that gearing. From what I was told most axles in those years with 4-wheel drive came with 3.42. But this Burb has the towing package so thats why I think I have the 3.73. Thanks for replying I will probably give Pauls one more call.

With Paul's, they have stuff coming in every day. I was there about a week ago and I think I saw a couple of burbs. Don't know what trucks have what axles, but they had a few.

Have a 3:40 open 10 bolt from a pickup, drum to drum. If your looking for 4wd rears, you need to be certain of what gear you have otherwise you might be extremely disappointed if the front and rear are different after you bought one. I will check with a buddy of mine that has 3:73 12 bolt in his 78 1/2 ton 4 wd, if that is what you need.
