Re: Windows in my 72
Is everything lubed good? If not, try some white lithium grease spray on all moving parts.

Re: Windows in my 72
The post for the wing window that goes down inside the door. Could it be cocked over towards the glass causing it to bind. Try loosening the screws holding it inside the the door and roll the window down.

I'm not sure I can explain this good enough but I'll try. There are two rollers on the arms of the window regulator that roll in the channel at the bottom of the window. There is also an arm on the window regulator with a roller on it that rolls in a channel on the inside of the door panel where the upholstery fastens. The roller came out of this channel on my truck and it caused the same problem you are having. If you have the door panel off put your fingers inside the large factory hole, pointing up (back toward the latch) and you should feel the arm and channel. I had to completely remove the regulator to replace the roller on that arm, and to make it easy it is a two person job..... LockDoc
