Post mix and match driveshafts

Anyone ever mix the front shaft off one set to the rear shaft off another set. Looks like I bent the big tube rear shaft on the truck and when I got out the sprare set of driveshafts to rebuild them with new joints and a center bearing, I found the front u-joint mount had been eaten away a bit on the inside of the hole and I think it's a little thin to take a chance. I have a good front and a good rear but there not balanced to each other.

I have mixed the pcs. Some times you get lucky, but more often they need to be balanced as an assembly. good luck.......69
