posi compatabilty questions
will a 373 12 bolt posi carrier from a 98 chev work in a 71 housing?

Eatons guide doesn't even list the newer differentials in the guide, they are actually a governer-lock type. unless you are looking at a different guide than me that is

98's did not have the old-style 12-bolt rears, those were dropped in the early 80s.
