1972 custom deluxe
I am a long time reader of this board, but this is my first post.
I thought you guys might like to see my latest project. A 72 c-10 cutom deluxe. It is in RUFF shape, but I am up to a challenge (especially since it was free!) This is a very well optioned truck, it has: AC, PS, PB, tilt column, upper and lower mouldings, 350/350 combo, original houndstooth seat cover is under the saddle blanket. 96 thousand original miles. Only rust is in the passenger rocker panel. Let me know what you think! Bill Last edited by Bus Ted Knuckle; 01-09-2007 at 01:48 PM. |

Re: 1972 custom deluxe
nice..i hope to eventually get a 29 to 39 ford one day to built a rat rod out of..but it will have to have a flat head in it..i think that the old school rat rods look great,,and like the idea of not worrying about how it looks..

Re: 1972 custom deluxe
that appears to be a highlander truck, seat is probably plaid, not houndstooth. looks like a good start--have fun

Re: 1972 custom deluxe
hey guys thanks for all the comments! I wanted to ask Jerry about the Highlander options. It is not listed on the trucks glovebox door, and does not have any badges naming it so. Tell me more about it!

Re: 1972 custom deluxe
it will be listed as a special promotion package-only available with the custom deluxe trucks. if you can post a pic of the seat upholstry we can tell for sure. it was a plaid pattern kind of looks like a flannel shirt pattern.

Re: 1972 custom deluxe
Jerry, your right it is a highlander. I'll get more pics of the seat cover, and door box option sheet for those interested ASAP. It's a pretty cool looking seat cover!
